iQOO has launched the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro in China, both featuring advanced hardware and high-resolution displays. The iQOO Pad 2 boasts a 12.05-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution (2800 x 1968 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and offers storage options ranging from 128GB (UFS 3.1) to 512GB (UFS 4.0). The tablet includes a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, along with a 10,000mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging. Additional features include a six-speaker system, a 3D VC cooling system, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1). The iQOO Pad 2 is available in Silver Wing, Lan Ting (blue), and Gray Crystal colors, with prices ranging from 2,499 Yuan (~$350) for the 8GB + 128GB version to 3,399 Yuan (~$480) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro Specs
The iQOO Pad 2 Pro, a more advanced model, features a larger 13-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution (3096 x 2064 pixels), a peak brightness of 900 nits, and the same 144Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Pro model includes a 13-megapixel rear camera capable of 4K video recording and an 8-megapixel front camera. It also features an 11,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1). The Pro variant also includes an eight-speaker system and a more extensive 3D VC cooling system with a 37,000mm² heat dissipation area. The iQOO Pad 2 Pro is priced from 3,399 Yuan (~$480) for the 8GB + 256GB version to 4,099 Yuan (~$575) for the 16GB + 512GB variant, and shares the same color options as the iQOO Pad 2.
Both tablets run on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 and support various optional accessories, including an active stylus, a keyboard case, and a folio case. They offer facial recognition and feature multiple connectivity options, with the Pro model having the additional advantage of Wi-Fi 7. The new iQOO tablets are now available for sale in China, offering consumers a choice between robust performance and premium features with the iQOO Pad 2 and enhanced capabilities with the iQOO Pad 2 Pro.
