Nothing, known for its affordable CMF series, is gearing up to launch the CMF Phone 1, continuing its trend of budget offerings. Despite initial high prices, Nothing’s phones have gradually become more accessible, with the Phone 2a targeting the Rs 25,000 segment. The CMF Phone 1’s price is speculated to be below Rs 20,000, reflecting Nothing’s commitment to affordability.

Critiquing competitors for neglecting lower-priced segments, Nothing emphasizes its dedication to offering superior performance with the CMF Phone 1. This commitment is underscored by their statement on X, highlighting a contrast with other brands’ inattention.

CMF Phone 1 Specifications and Features

Rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC, the CMF Phone 1 contradicts earlier speculation about the Dimensity 7200. This chipset promises comparable performance to the Snapdragon 778G+ found in Nothing’s previous Phone (1). Leaked images suggest a unique design with a bright orange color and a distinctive physical dial, aligning with CMF’s signature aesthetic.

Expected specifications include a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera. Additionally, the device may offer 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via microSD card. Rumored to launch in July 2024, the CMF Phone 1 is anticipated to be priced under Rs. 20,000 and could be an India-exclusive release, sparking discussions among interested users about its design and features.
