Samsung has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M55 5G, in Brazil and is set to arrive in India soon. Sporting a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, offering significant performance improvements over its predecessor. With 8GB of RAM and a 50MP rear camera featuring OIS and VDIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera, the Galaxy M55 promises impressive photography capabilities.

Running on Android 14 with Samsung One UI 6, the device offers robust software support, including four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches. Enhanced security features such as Samsung Knox Vault are also included. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, although the charger is not included in the box.

In Brazil, the Galaxy M55 is priced at 3,199 Brazilian Real, with a 200 R$ discount during the sale. Meanwhile, in India, pricing details have surfaced, with the base model starting at INR 26,999 and the top-tier model rumored to cost INR 32,999. With its impressive specifications and competitive pricing, the Galaxy M55 5G aims to offer consumers a compelling mid-range smartphone option in both markets.
