Samsung’s much-anticipated Galaxy S24 FE is expected to launch globally in October, followed by the Galaxy A16 in December. Leaks suggest that the Galaxy S24 FE will feature the Exynos 2400e processor, running on One UI 6.1.1, and will be equipped with a 4,565 mAh battery. Samsung is advertising the device as capable of providing up to 78 hours of music playback and 29 hours of video playback, making it a strong contender for users who prioritize battery life.
Galaxy A06: Affordable Performance with a Sleek Design
Meanwhile, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam, with plans to expand to more markets soon. This new addition to the Galaxy A series combines affordability with performance and style. The Galaxy A06 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor and comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, both expandable via microSD.
The device features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals, and a 50MP main rear camera for capturing detailed photos. It also includes an 8MP front camera, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button for added security.
Samsung has put particular emphasis on the Galaxy A06’s design, which includes a flat back with vertical stripes to reduce fingerprints and enhance its aesthetic appeal. The phone will ship with Android 14 and is promised two major Android updates, ensuring it will eventually run on Android 16.
In Vietnam, the Galaxy A06 is priced at approximately $127 for the 4/64GB model and $151 for the 6/128GB model. Early buyers will also receive a free 25W charger, as the charger is not included in the box. This move further solidifies Samsung’s commitment to providing value-packed options in the budget smartphone segment.
